Why are we talking about this album here? You can talk about albums all on their own here at FANS. I just created the 1st one for this classic. With a classic story. Check it! https://fans.com/albums/65844-the-concert-in-central-park

We were at this concert too - although it wasn't our first - it was a great show and memory. Two things I remember, - first is - my girlfriend and I brought a wine sack ( remember those ) and some sandwiches with us. The group of folks sitting in front of us, a typical NYC Upper West side well employed bunch, had this amazing picnic basket with them that kept unfolding with new layers of food drink and the accompanying plates and glasses. I think they ended the feast with Port. The second thing I remember is that with a hundred thousand people in the middle of The City, you could hear a pin drop when they sang Scarborough Fair. It still send chills up my spine to hear that song.
